Morality and Does God Exist

QUESTION: How does Morality answer "Does God Exist"?

ANSWER:

Another argument for the Existence of God is Morality. When analyzing the question, “Does God Exist,” look to the Argument from Morality.

    The Premises:

    1. If objective moral values exist, then God exists.
    2. Objective moral values exist.

    The Conclusion: God exists.

The Argument from Morality
Premise 1 of the Argument from Morality is true because there cannot be an objective standard of morality unless there is an objective moral lawgiver. If an atheist appeals to some desired result, he’s forced to place subjective value on the result itself. The atheist cannot justify any form of objective morality without breaking his own naturalistic/materialistic rules.

Premise 2 of the Argument from Morality is true because to deny it would render all morality subjective. If all morality is subjective, then any action is ultimately justifiable from a subjective perspective. In addition, it is universally self-evident that certain things are objectively wrong (such as rape, murder, genocide, torture, child abuse, theft, embezzlement, cheating, lying, adultery, graft, corruption, etc.). The existence of objective moral values is as self evident as the existence of the external world. Therefore, as hard as today’s culture tries to point to the truth of moral relativism, the burden of proof is actually on them -- those who deny the reality of objective moral values.
